Some people come to Cumberland Gap to relax and get away from it all. But most of our visitors want remarkable experiences they can’t find in other places, and our stunningly beautiful town and surrounding mountains provide plenty of opportunities.
We are surrounded by mountains and outdoor adventures to be sure, but historic attractions also abound, ranging from settlements built by the first people journeying through the Gap from the East, to a museum dedicated to one of the most influential presidents in United States history.
