Wasioto Winds is a public golf course located at Pine Mountain State Parke in Pineville, Kentucky, just a short drive from Cumberland Gap. In 2003, the course was rated fourth among Best New Affordable Public Golf Courses in Golf Digest Magazine. The Michael Hurdzan-designed golf course is described as “a difficult course but friendly to the high handicapper.”
The natural beauty of the course is stunning, as it traces a valley crisscrossed by a meandering stream and surrounded by majestic mountains. Native rhododendrons and hemlocks ornament the course, and greens are Bermuda grass with L-93 bent grass greens. After a round, enjoy the other amenities of Kentucky’s beautiful Pine Mountain State Park.
