The Cumberland Gap Volunteer Fire Department is a nonprofit organization providing fire and emergency services to the towns of Cumberland Gap and Tiprell. These brave volunteers consist mostly of medical and veterinary students from Lincoln Memorial University. They are available 24/7 to perform fire suppression and other related emergency services for our local jurisdiction and are summoned to the fire station when their services are needed.
Their mission is simple: preserve the past and protect the future. If you think you have what it takes to serve your community, we urge you to reach out and see about joining the team.
